This Machine Is Worth $1 was conceived as a short run EP in order to promote the release of Richard Bacchus & The Luckiest Girls’ debut album Jet Black And Beautiful. Unfortunately the EP had to be withdrawn shortly after release due to legal threats regarding the front cover artwork after Ricky was denied permission to use the offending picture!

Although currently without a CD release of Jet Black And Beautiful the only way that old-school rockers with a healthy scepticism of this new fangled computer technology can get their filthy hands on the hard goods appears to be in the form of Limited Edition 3" CD bootleg copies of the withdrawn EP This Machine Is Worth $1 surreptitiously exchanging hands at UK shows for the princely sum of one pint of British beer and a shot of Tequila!
